PHILIPPI, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the seeding and schedule for the 2012 Women’s Soccer Tournament Thursday and Alderson-Broaddus women’s soccer will host a home contest Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. ET.

Following a first-round bye, the Battlers will face the winner of Monday’s No. 5 Charleston versus No. 4 Shepherd match. Both teams enter the postseason with identical 5-3-2 conference records.

A-B defeated both teams on the road during the regular season. The Battlers downed the Rams 2-0 and defeated The Golden Eagles 1-0 in early October.

First Round – Monday, Oct. 29
No. 6 Concord at No. 3 Davis & Elkins - TBA
No. 5 Charleston at No. 4 Shepherd - TBA
No. 1 Alderson-Broaddus and No. 2 West Virginia Wesleyan have first-round byes.

WVIAC Semifinals – Friday, Nov. 2
Winner of No. 4/5 at No. 1 Alderson-Broaddus – 7 p.m.
Winner of No. 3/6 at No. 2 West Virginia Wesleyan – 7 p.m.

WVIAC Finals – Sunday, Nov. 4
TBA – Match will be played at the field of the highest remaining seed.
