PRINCETON, W. Va. – Alderson-Broaddus sophomore Olivia Augustine has been named the WVIAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

The 5’6” midfielder/forward from Mansfield, Ohio, guided the Battlers to a 2-0 week. The wins came over Ohio Valley and Davis & Elkins.

In the win over the Fighting Scots, Augustine booted home a second-half score after dishing out an assist earlier in the match. In the victory over the Senators, Augustine gave A-B an early 1-0 lead on an unassisted goal in the ninth minute. 

Augustine helped the Battlers clinch the regular-season title.
