PHILIPPI, W.Va. -- Alderson-Broaddus women's soccer notched its fourth consecutive win by defeating conference opponent Concord Saturday at the Multi-Sport Performance Stadium.

"Tonight was our most complete performance of the year," said Head Coach Patrick McGinnis. "From start to finish the intensity, composure and toughness were all there. Concord has always been a struggle for us so being able to finally accomplish that feels really good."

Battler women's soccer was 0-5 against Concord coming into the match.

Sophomore Olivia Augustine collected her second goal of the season 54:10 into the match. The Mansfield, Ohio, native recorded a game-high eight shots against the Mountain Lions, three of which were on goal.

A-B extended its lead and sealed the victory with a goal from senior Nicole Lehman with less than 30 minutes remaining. Lehman sent a corner kick from senior Gwen Brand on net for her team-high third goal of the season and Brand earned her team-leading third assist of the year in the process.

The Battlers out shot CU 23-6 in the win and senior goal keeper Kate Laird shutout the opposition playing all 90 minutes in goal.

A-B travels south to face conference rival West Virginia Wesleyan College Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.
