CALIFORNIA, Pa. -- California University of Pennsylvania swept the Alderson-Broaddus women's volleyball team 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-20) Tuesday in a non-conference match.

Freshman Caitlin Cain led the Battlers (13-14) with seven kills and recorded 12 digs. Sophomore Kayla Peterson paced the team with 16 assists and added 10 digs.

A pair of Vulcans (22-5) recorded double-digit kills led by junior Molly Delaney with 13. CAL U junior Abby Freund provided 33 assists and 13 digs.

CAL U controlled the net recording eight blocks to the Battlers two.

A-B returns home Wednesday evening for a conference match versus Davis & Elkins College at 6 p.m.
