URBANA, Ohio -- Alderson-Broaddus women’s volleyball defeated Urbana University 3-2 (18-25, 23-25, 28-26, 25-20, 15-11) despite trailing 2-0 to start the match.

“We have played four matches in five days so getting a win being down two sets is big,” said Head Coach Carrie Bodkins. “It once again goes to show how the team can execute and get big wins in crunch time.”

Freshmen Caitlin Cain and Kaitlyn Eilenfeld recorded 16 kills against the Blue Knights. Sophomore Taylor Dutcher added 22 digs and Kayla Peterson collected a season-high 56 assists.

A-B (13-13, 6-1 WVIAC) travels to California, Pa., Tuesday to face California University of Pennsylvania at 6 p.m. ET.
