PHILIPPI, W. Va. -- Alderson-Broaddus College and Athletic Director Dennis Creehan are excited to announce Allison Shaw as the Head Coach of the Cheerleading Team and the new Dance squad.

“Allison brings great experience and energy to Alderson-Broaddus.  Her passion is something that was evident from the moment we first met,” said Creehan.

Shaw comes to A-B after serving as the Residence Life Coordinator at WV Wesleyan College.

Prior to moving to West Virginia, Shaw was a member of the Storm Chaser Dance Team for the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League and also was part of the High Voltage Dance Team for the Iowa Energy of the NBA Developmental League. 

Shaw was a member of the Iowa State University Cyclones Hip Hop Dance Team and Competition Squad while she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies.  She is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from WV Wesleyan College.
