Philippi, W. VA -  The A-B Men’s Basketball Team had its two game streak snapped as they fell to Concord 82-73 in a WVIAC home contest this evening.  

The Battlers led nearly the whole way but couldn’t hang out late as they connected on just one field goal over a six minute spell in a game that saw 48 combined fouls and 66 free throws attempted. 

Leading by five at the break, A-B stretched the margin to 11 to with 12:12 to go before Concord went to work.  The Mountain Lions closed the contest on a 34-14 run to easily pull out the victory. 

Kurklin Bohanon led the Battlers with 24 points.  O'Dell Eargle chipped in 20 points off the bench. 

CU got a game high 26 from Javaugh Manuel and got 19 points each from Burnell Granderson and Corey Neeley.  Concord connected on 34 of 44 free throw attempts including 23 of 29 in the 2nd half.

A-B shot 52% from the field for the game, but were plagued by 20 turnovers compared to just 9 from the Mountain Lions. 

Coach Zimmerman's squad will look to bounce back this Saturday as they play host to Pitt-Johnstown.  Tipoff is at 7:30.
