Aaron Rule will be entering his first year with the Alderson-Broaddus football program and will be in charge of coaching the outside linebackers. Prior to coming to A-B, Rule coached defensive backs at West Virginia Tech in Montgomery, W.Va., from the spring of 2011 to fall of 2011. Prior to WVU Tech, Coach Rule has worked with wide receivers and defensive backs at the high school level at several high school programs in West Virginia.
Rule is a native of Clendenin, W.Va., and earned a bachelor's degree in math education at West Virginia State University. Rule spent two years at West Virginia University working toward a master's degree in athletic coaching education and is a current member of the West Virginia Air National Guard at the 130th Airlift Wing out of Charleston, W.Va., and has served for 12 years.
