Assistant Coach J.J. Mayer enters his second season with the Alderson-Broaddus football team. The Clarksburg, W.Va., native coaches defensive backs and graduated from Fairmont State with a degree in Sport Management.

Prior to A-B, Mayer coached defensive backs at DII Stonehill College in Easton, Mass.

Mayer played four seasons at Fairmont State at defensive back.
