George Mallett enters his second season as the assistant coach with the Battlers. Mallet handles duties as the recruiting coordinator and coaches infielders.

A native of Zionsville, Ind., Mallett graduated from Manchester College in 2006, earning his degree in Economics. 

While at Manchester, he was a First Team All-Conference third baseman, helping lead his teams to two conference championships, two conference tournament championships, three trips to the NCAA tournament, and an appearance in the NCAA Division III World Series.  

He was part of the most successful class in school history, with a four year record of 133-49. Mallett has served as an assistant coach at both Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School and Zionsville Community High School. 

He spent his summers coaching with the nationally elite travel organizations Indiana Prospects, Indiana Bulls and Hoosier Diamond Warriors.
