Jesse Weiner

Jesse Weiner begins his second season as the head men's and women's cross country and the track and field coach. During the 2012 indoor and outdoor seasons the team broke 20 indoor and outdoor school records. 

Prior to A-B, Weiner served as the  co-head women's cross country coach, assistant men's cross country coach and assistant men's and women's track and field coach at Adrian College during the 2010-11 seasons. Weiner worked as the long distance, mid distance, sprints coach and head recruiting coordinator.He recruited incoming freshman who made an immediate impact on the cross country and track and field programs that last season.

Before arriving at Adrian, Weiner worked in the athletic department at East Stroudsburg University. He worked various high school and collegiate track meets, filled the role of student assistant cross country and track coach, and coordinated meet setups for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Indoor Championships. He also arranged an area high school meet comprised of over 35 schools.

He spent August 2008- January 2010 as a graduate assistant cross country and track and field coach at his ESU. He helped the Warrior men's outdoor track and field team finish second at the 2009 and 2010 PSAC Championships. The same group also placed second in the 2010 indoor PSAC Championships.

Weiner also served as an intern at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia and worked closely with the meet director assisting in the daily operations in 2010.

Weiner was a four-year member of the cross country and track and field teams at East Stroudsburg from 2005-08.

Weiner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies and a master's degree in sports management from East Stroudsburg. Weiner resides in Philippi, W.Va. and possesses Level I Certification from USA Track and Field.
